I was delighted with the cozy and charming decor of the hotel. The nautical theme throughout the premises was simply delightful and created a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. The common areas were always clean and well-maintained, making it easy for me to navigate around the hotel. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel, especially the terrace area, which was perfect for someone like me who occasionally experiences mobility issues.
I would have loved to see the children working there organize some activities specifically tailored for senior guests. It would have been wonderful to have some gentle exercise or social events that cater to the needs and interests of us older folks.

The value for money at Crows Nest in Sandown was excellent, and the room was comfortable and well-equipped. The location was great, with easy parking and close proximity to the beach and coastal path. The staff were easily accessible and prompt in their responses, and we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the presence of local wildlife. it was a restful and enjoyable stay.
The breakfast experience could be improved with better attention to cleanliness, especially in terms of avoiding spills or food remnants in the fridge and ensuring the drawers are thoroughly checked before guest arrival.

Our recent stay at Crows Nest was fantastic. The peaceful rural and beach location provided us with an amazing wildlife experience. We enjoyed bird watching and even spotted fox cubs, rabbits, and butterflies. The shower worked well once we found the right setting, and the welcome basket was a helpful touch. The comfortable bed, well-equipped kitchen, and great walks around made our stay even more enjoyable. The sandy beach nearby was a bonus.
It was a bit difficult for us to do a food shop as we couldn't leave our dog in the property. While we understand the policy, it was challenging for our dog who wasn't used to traveling in a car and being tied outside a shop.
